Dr. Abdullah, Wilsons discuss peace process

KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with the US embassy Chargé d’ Affaires Ross Wilson at the Sapidar Palace yesterday morning, a statement said.

Both sides discussed peace process and the presidential election, the statement from the CE Press Office said.

During the meeting, Dr. Abdullah stressed on transparency while addressing the electoral complaints, the statement added.

According to another report, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah also discussed peace process and presidential election during a meeting with NATO civilian representative to Afghanistan Nicolas Kay on Monday.

Briefing the Chief Executive on NATO defense ministers meeting in Brussels and their discussions on Afghanistan, the envoy said his organization was committed to support the Afghan National Defense and Security forces, the statement from the CE Press office added.
