President Ghani orders transfer of 400 million Afghanis emergency fund to Herat

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a message has ordered the transfer of 400 million Afghanis emergency fund to Herat as part of measures to prevent the coronavirus outbreak in the province.
President Ghani assured the people of Herat that the government of Afghanistan was standing to support them.
“I’ve instructed for urgent and considerable steps in foreign dimension of the issue, returnees’ management, coordination of assistance, creation of urgent facilities, prevention of economic crisis and procurement of particular possibilities to contain the coronavirus outbreak in the province,” President stressed.
The country’s President urged the creation of a high council representing people from all walks on life of Herat province to work of prevention of the coronavirus spread in the province.
He assured residents of Herat that all government resources would be at their disposal to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the province.
