Another key IS leader held in Afghanistan: NDS

KABUL: Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS) have arrested another Pakistani member of Islamic State in Afghanistan, a statement said.

According to NDS, Munib Mohammad, also known as Abu Bilal, Haris, was detained during a special operation.

The statement from NDS further added that Munib was a key judge of the militant group in Afghanistan. He has been spokesman for the Lashkar-e-Taiba, Haqqani Network and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.

Another Daesh leader, Abdullah Orakzai was arrested along with 19 associates in Afghanistan two weeks back.
